Woodside Church spent the weekend away at the Catalyst festival this bank holiday. What a great time we had…a mixture of weather but it did not dampen our spirits!
There will be a full review shortly but for now we want to say a big thank you to the festival team. In particular, we want to thank Woodside’s very own Jo Hearn for the fantastic children’s work that blessed so many and also to Luke Clements for the sports and youth work. Also Hannah King serve through-out the week in the youth. Thank you to those that served throughout the week. Great job guys! Well done.
Woodside will return to meeting this Sunday 2.06.13 at 9:00am and 11:00am. Join us for our new sermons series: Building the City of God.

We tried to make it easier for you as a reader to find the stuff that interests or helps you — and share it with your friends.
Our updated navigation bar across the top of your browser means you are just one click away from making it easier to find your favourite sections.
If you’re looking for something specific the search bar helps you get straight to where you want to go.
Hope you enjoy it. Go on have a look around, we think it is pretty cool and we hope you do to. A massive thank you to the Woodside Media team for all the work that has gone in.

Have you either felt you could do with a bit of training and insight to help you pray with others? Or wondered if your friend is ready to become a Christian and not quite sure of the next step?….
Being better equipped must be good news for all of us and if you want some practical help as well as being pushed very slightly out of your comfort zone then this course could be just the thing. Running over 5 Monday evenings in March and April, it isn’t necessary to do all the sessions but it helps if you could let us know if you are intending to come so we can make sure enough materials are prepared.
Contact: Ruth Bifield at email@example.com for more info or to register your interest
Venue: Woodside church
Dates & Times: March 11th, 18th, 25th and April 15th and 22nd. 8pm to 9.30pm
Course leaders: Ruth Bifield and Ruth Matthews

Catalyst is almost here! The first meeting of the festival is on Saturday 25th May and will be taking place at Stoneleigh showground near Coventry. It is still possible to get day tickets – the best day to come might be the Sunday as there are 2 main meetings that day and there are no services here at Woodside on the 26th (normal service will resume on the following week!). Check out www.catalystnetwork.org/fetival for more info. Please pray for all those going and for those who are serving – Jo Hearn is over-seeing the children’s work, Luke Clements will be speaking at one of the youth meetings, Nigel Dicks is a trouble-shooting host on our site and Andy Martin is looking after the Global zone. And if you really want a prayer challenge you could ask God to turn the heat up – in all aspects of the event. That includes the weather!
