easter-fullpageEaster is all about Jesus!

On Easter we celebrate the Him. Jesus is our saviour who was raised from death to life. Through His life, death, and resurrection He conquered Satan, sin, and death. He was who He said He was.

Through our trust and faith in Him we can enjoy a new life. Join us this easter as we celebrate the man who was God: Jesus.

Service times: 9:00am and 11:00am Woodside Christian Center

Being like Jesus

By Nathan Clements, on Wednesday, April 2, 2014

conference-news-fullpageThe Woodside Conference surpassed my expectations. Above the excellent worship, insightful and helpful teaching and general fun, the heart behind the theme is what encouraged and challenged me most.  Understanding God’s heart for people and how that can play out in our attitudes towards those who’s lives are not the same as ours, was particularly challenging.

The topics/selection of teaching was superb, and clearly a sign of where the elders see the church journeying towards. A path that I (and, I’m convinced, the rest of the church) am well on-board with. Jesus spent time with the outsiders, served the poor and corrected others through love and relationship. That’s what we want and need to be like.

I’m excited to see how Woodside will become more like this, and how as a church, we will be led into these principles.

A big thank you to everyone who was involved in making it such a great weekend.
