We have all seen the developing conflict in Ukraine and have joined with the global church in praying for those caught up in the horror of these events. In times like these we can desperately want to help but not know how. Below we have put together a toolkit to help you find ways to put your concern into action.
If you are able to, we would encourage you to donate to the Newfrontiers Ukraine Response Fund today by using the details below:
Account Name: Catalyst Network of Churches
Sort Code: 089299
Account Number: 65626678
In addition to any donations from individuals, we wanted you to know that we are donating £15,000 from the Woodside reserves into this fund.
This fund will serve not only those who have left their nation as refugees, but also the many Ukrainians facing hardships within their own borders. Every day, lorries packed with essential resources leave Kraków and make the journey to the border of Ukraine, before turning round and providing transport for fleeing refugees on their return trip.
The short video below outlines the ways in which just one church is reaching out. We know that these costly and sacrificial demonstrations of Christ’s love are being replicated by churches right across the region.
You can also give online directly via PayPal on the Catlayst Giving page, PayPal also supports donations by credit or debit card. Are you able to claim Gift Aid? Click here to fill out the Gift Aid Form.

HOMES FOR UKRAINE
There are thought to be more than three million refugees who have now fled Ukraine. The UK government has created a way for Ukrainian refugees who want to come to the UK and have someone here willing to provide them with a home to do so. This unique scheme has been named Homes for Ukraine.
As all who intend to come to the UK will need a sponsor willing to host them, we are planning to partner with Church’s across Newfrontiers to provide housing for our brothers and sisters fleeing the Ukraine.
If you are able to offer a room(s) then please follow the steps below.
UNABLE TO PROVIDE HOUSING BUT WOULD STILL LIKE TO HELP?
We understand that not every home will be able to provide housing for a refugee. However as a church family there will be many ways that we can support both those hosting Ukrainian refuges and those arriving from the Ukraine in the coming months. As the needs become clear and our plans move forward we will continue to communicate how we can, together, provide this help.
